Hajah Fauzidah binti Datuk Abdul Rahman

Hajah Fauzidah binti Datuk Abdul Rahman holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) (Hons) from the University of Malaya and brings over 39 years of distinguished experience in corporate law, with a particular emphasis on privatisation, infrastructure, and large-scale development projects.
She began her career at the Attorney General’s Chambers as a Senior Federal Counsel in the International Advisory Division, before serving as Deputy Registrar at the Melaka High Court. She later moved into private practice with Messrs. Mohd Khamil & Co, where she acted as external legal adviser to the Johor State Government on a series of landmark privatisation initiatives. Her work included advising on, structuring, drafting, and negotiating major national projects such as the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA), Air Traffic Services, KL Tower, MARA Shipyard & Engineering (Terengganu) Sdn Bhd, and the Islamic Arts Museum Malaysia.
She subsequently expanded her project portfolio with Yayasan Albukhary, where she was closely involved in the development and delivery of significant institutional, religious, and social infrastructure projects. These included the Albukhary Foundation Headquarters in Kuala Lumpur, Albukhary International University in Kedah, Albukhary Mosque in Kuala Lumpur, and multiple developments in Penang and Johor, as well as the Tanjung Pura Mosque in Medan, Indonesia.
In 2009, she joined Iskandar Investment Berhad as Senior Vice President (Legal), where she led the Real Asset Management function and oversaw the legal and commercial aspects of Medini, a 2,230-acre flagship township and one of Malaysia’s most ambitious urban developments. She played a central role in shaping the project’s legal and regulatory framework, including stakeholder coordination initiatives, the implementation of an online lease registration system at the Johore Lands and Mines office, and the development of standardised documentation for developers.
She currently heads the Johor Bahru office, where her practice focuses on corporate advisory, project-based legal work, and complex civil litigation. She also has experience in criminal defence matters.
